The vibrant decor adds a fun twist to the atmosphere, making your stay feel quirky and unique. The outdoor dining area is a nice touch, perfect for grabbing a bite amidst some greenery.

I dealt with a screeching noise every time I turned on the bathroom tap, which was a bit unsettling. there was no wardrobe in my room, forcing me to live out of my suitcase, which I didn’t like for the price I paid. Plus, finding parking was a hassle with only an expensive public car park nearby or roadside parking a good 10-minute walk away. That felt like a letdown.

    luxurious bathroom
    quirky decor
    welcoming host
    parking inconvenience

Staying at The Beetroot was a pleasure. Paul, the host, greeted me with a warm welcome, providing a delightful selection of teas and a thorough introduction to the quirky but charming decor. My room, a Studio with Garden View, was enormous, featuring a kitchenette with a coffee machine, and incredibly comfortable furnishings. The bathroom was luxurious, equipped with underfloor heating and a spacious walk-in shower. I appreciated the vibrant art displayed throughout the premises, adding an artistic touch. The courtyard garden was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after exploring Margate. parking posed a challenge. Although there was a paid lot directly outside, it felt inconvenient at times. Luckily, I found free parking a short walk away. But having to carry luggage that distance wasn't ideal. Regardless, I’m eager to return for another delightful stay.

vibrant decor, quirky streets, beautiful courtyard

Not having a chair in the room left me lounging on the bed!!! The steep steps might be a struggle for older guests as well!!! Plus, finding parking nearby felt like a small nightmare at times!!!

    fantastic location
    tea selection
    courtyard ambiance

The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and the old town (such a vibrant area! ). Lots of tea options in the room, and the plants in the courtyard added a peaceful vibe.

    Found nothing wrong.

    welcoming atmosphere
    inconvenient parking

The location was fantastic, close to great bars serving excellent real ale, and just a short stroll to the captivating old town. The room was cozy and clean, with such a welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a long day exploring. Paul, our host, was always ready with a friendly chat and tips about the area, making our experience feel personal and enjoyable.

The only downside was that parking nearby could be a bit inconvenient at times.

Just a decent option for a brief weekend stay in Margate with value for price. Enjoyed the unique decor that added character to the place. Look for free parking options a short walk away to save on costs.

Cute spot in a great location!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the vibe. Paul was super friendly, and the place is really nicely done with quirky details everywhere. Plus, the outdoor dining area was a bonus for our breakfast. Only snag was the Wi-Fi was kinda spotty at times, but we made it work. Would def recommend if you're into charm!
